The Journey Database is being designed to be used for more than just this application.
We are working on the idea that a Databases wants to be used to hold collaborative information. It could HR records, Sales leads and support, Resource Management.
This Database system starts with the idea that you have groups of Alpha Records.
An Alpha Record belongs to an Alpha Type.
This is where we start to help you design your database. An Alpha Type could be 'Employee, Contractor, Department', or 'Customer, Lead, Sale, Product, Manufacturer.' In Journey's case we have 'Kōkua, Ohana, Kula, Hui.'
An Alpha record does not contain much information, it is kept to a bear minimum on purpose.
Information about an Alpha is stored in definable sub areas.
